our process

Each project we work on is unique and brings along its own set of challenges and milestones. Through coding, design, branding or marketing, Saltline works with a general process that we have developed over the years. A typical project will consist of the following:

  • Analysis of branding and company - The needs for the project are defined with research into your brand and current marketing strategies. We talk to the client about marketing goals, where they want to go in the future and how we can get them there.
  • Proposal - Saltline puts together an extensive proposal/quote for the project and we deliver it to the client.
  • Project Management - After the proposal has been signed and we are ready to work, Saltline will set the client up on its unique project management website where the client staff can interact back and forth with us throughout the project.
  • Design - Saltline works into the Design phase and generally gives the client 2-5 comps depending on the project. There is constant back and forth between the client and Saltline to make sure that we are all on the same page...and most important, all happy.
  • Production- The production phase comes after the designs have been chosen and the comps signed off on. At this point we move on to coding and implementation process. Design changes at this point take a great deal of extra work, so we make sure the client is happy withthe design before moving here.
  • Testing - We now test your project on various browsers and platforms as well as run user scenarios in order get ready to launch the project.
  • Launch - Launching the project is a great day for the client as well as Saltline. We make sure everything runs smoothly that day in order for you and your customers to be happy.

what do you charge for projects?

Each project is completely custom, but we generally work on projects in the $2,000 - $25,000 range. The lower end being quick design or development projects. Jobs in the higher range generally require more staff of which we can call on our consultants for. Contact Us for more information.
