eol - encyclopedia of life
Saltline was hired on to help with user design, CSS and graphic design at the late stages of the eol website launch. A massive undertaking, eol is trying to document every species on the planet with its own page with video, photo and scientific information. The site is heavily reliant of Ruby on Rails and CSS/XHTML on the front end.
We helped the developers with user testing scenarious, work with the current CSS, design the homepage, and all sorts of graphic design solutions. This website continues to be a work in progress, but is holding its own right now.
